It’s been a few weeks since my last post. This has been a fun filled summer with friends and family. And because of that, I have lost a little momentum when it comes to sitting at the computer. I’m hoping I can get back on track soon! Here are images sent in from three friends: India, Kristin, and Derek. The first shot is one that I took while camping with my family at the Great National Sand Dunes.

I am grateful each and every morning that my feet touch the floor when I creak and moan and groan my way out of bed. They have carried me through 56 years of walking, running, stumbling, tripping, falling, dancing, and tiptoeing through this journey called life. –Peggy
I actually took this shot as part of a daily challenge…the phrase of the day was “where you stand”…this was my literal take on that! 😉
I don’t like feet. I mean… touching feet etc. kinda creep me out. But taking pictures of mine has a whole lot meaning. It helps me to remember where I am on my own path, my journey. It was not easy to choose one, but the pic I sent you was taken at the beginning of autumn here. I was waiting outside to pick up my oldest daughter, Grenouille (no, it’s not her real name lol) to come back from school with the school bus. It was windy and grey but the bright leaves on the grass made me happy to be right here, right now, in a city and a country we’ve chosen to move to, so far from our roots. I was grateful for the chance and possibility of having one of my dream now being my reality. –Nolwenn

A runners feet in an ice bath! Non-runners would think we are crazy, but to us runners, an ice bath is a necessity!
This picture was taken in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, on the very spot
that my husband and I were married. We were married on the grounds of
a little inn called The Nightswan. This photo was taken on our 12th
anniversary! It shows our feet, plus those of our daughter! It was
nice to visit with her, so she could stand with us on that very spot
where a simple kiss started our story…
The story here is that this is the grassy area behind the church that I work at. I’m a graphic designer and work full time while the rest of the staff only works Mon-Thurs (& Sundays of course). My Fridays are extremely lonely and most days I have lunch out in that grassy area and love to soak up the sun and read a book & be out in the grass during lunch!
I have many passions and creative outlets, but there is one I access every day. Whether it’s freezing outside or boiling hot, I grab my iPhone and see what I can find to photograph. I’m not much of a landscape photographer or a portrait photographer. The things that interest me most are the ones we tend to overlook and trample across. I like to get down on my knees and photograph what I see at my feet.
